Kurt has had an eventful year in 2011, traveling to both Bolivia and the Cameroon to field test our products.  In Bolivia, he lived in the jungle and had a chance to field test insect repellents. 

As a result of his experiences, we now recommend only UltraThon insect repellent by 3M.  Kurt used both the pump spray and the lotion with a sponge applicator.  He would spray his clothes and any exposed skin (i.e. hands) every morning, but by midday and into the evening, found a reapplication of the repellent using the sponge applicator was necessary.  

We currently carry both products which can be purchased as options for the WMS Denali, Humbug II and Absorkee kits.  The spray comes standard in the WMS Kilimanjaro kit and the lotion can be added as an option.

This product would work well in any tropical area (Dominican Republic, Hawai'i, etc.) and is valued by those who lived and work in these areas.  In fact, Kurt had to leave all of the repellent he took for his hosts in Bolivia!
